MCA and Dry Needling
MCA* Dry Needling for Scars and Burns
MCA and Dry Needling offers amazing results for burns and scars. Many people have scars or burn scars on their body. In some cases minor and in others excessive and with some it can very much affect the way they feel about themselves and cause a big dent in their confidence.
MCA and dry needling pierce through the scarred skin tissue which then stimulates cell growth underneath and around the area resulting in the restructuring of the skin allowing the scar to begin to shrink and disappear.
Whether the scar or burn is small or large, these scars can be traumatic for the patient.
With this in mind, the specialist MUST be empathetic and have a true understanding of how the scar or burn is affecting that person’s life.
Patients are often sceptical of having treatments on an area that is already scarred for fear that it will become worse.
We always perform a skin patch test on the area prior to any treatment course.
The client must also realise that on some skin colours and types there is also a risk of the skin pigment becoming darker in the area, so again in this instance, a patch test is always advised.

Stretch Marks – MCA* and Dry Needling
*MCA Multitrepannic Collagen Actuation
Stretch Marks is an issue for many people and not just women.
MCA can achieve excellent results on stretch marks on the body.
By using the MCA method the needles cause the skins natural defence system to heal by promoting and producing the skins natural collagen. This, in turn, will stimulate the skin’s melanin (pigmentation in the skin) which will then restore the patient’s natural pigmentation to the area after healing has taken place.
If there are still a few areas that do not fully regiment naturally we can then perform Skin Camouflage and apply pigment into the area to complete the treatment.
MCA and Dry Needling should only be performed by a highly trained micropigmentation specialist as MCA and Dry Needling is an advanced technique and must be performed correctly.
Fine Lines and Wrinkles – MCA and Dry Needling
MCA and Dry Needling also works very well on lines and wrinkles on the skin.
MCA treatments are performed using a topical Anesthetic making the procedures as comfortable as possible.
Directly after the procedure, the skin will appear scratched and lightly grazed for a few days. Once healed a noticeable difference in the skin’s appearance will be seen and further treatments will improve results.
