Scars, Burns & MCA* – The only non-surgical technique to offer a realistic solution
Scars have always been treated with either creams or surgery. Our medical micropigmentation technique for scars is the only non-surgical technique to offer a realistic solution for improving scars.
Although the concept of dry needling has been around for many years, this treatment has been formulated around the latest research and conclusions. Our process is a type of dry needling that uses the same needles and equipment we use for semi-permanent makeup procedures; however, no pigment is implanted with dry needling.
By gently needling into scars caused by accident or surgery, we activate the body’s repair response, which sends collagen to the needling site, and the scar softens and flattens. The same technique is used for wrinkles and results in the wrinkle being plumped out by the collagen.
We have successfully used this technique on surgery scars, burns, small trauma scars and wrinkles. It can be used both on the body and face. The procedure is straightforward and requires no downtime unless used on the face.
*MCA is an acronym for Multitrepannic Collagen Actuation dry needling, which flattens and re-pigments scar tissue.

Vitiligo
Vitiligo is a skin disorder that is caused by a lack of skin pigment called Melanin. Melanin is what is produced by the skin cells to provide your skin with its colour.
When Vitiligo occurs, the skin has white patches in small or large areas, which can spread throughout the body and seem to move from one area to another.
It is unclear why this happens, but there are several different types of Vitiligo, ranging from autoimmune conditions to Segmental Vitiligo (caused by chemicals released from nerve endings to the skin.)
About 20% of sufferers are congenital (passed down from a family member); however, there are some patients whose Vitiligo is triggered by something or an event in their lives, such as:
- Stressful events (even childbirth)
- Damage to the skin through cuts and burns
- Severe sunburn
- Exposure to certain chemicals.
Contrary to some people’s belief, Vitiligo is not infectious; it cannot be passed from another person with the condition.
Medical micropigmentation and skin camouflage are now seen as two of the best treatments available for vitiligo. This is mainly due to Skin Camouflage and Medical Micropigmentation becoming more widely known and recognised by doctors and medical facilities. Once applied, Micropigmentation lasts for several years, and if a well-trained specialist is chosen to perform the treatment, the skin tone match can be very close to the existing skin tone.

Tattoo Removal – Less painful than laser removal with better results
Over recent years, we have seen a rise in the number of body tattoos. Whilst most people are happy with their choices, some regret their body art. We can remove tattoos and semi-permanent makeup (SPMU) by using a technique that gently implants a removal solution into the site of the tattoo or semi-permanent makeup treatment area. Through careful and light application, the colour is drawn from the skin over the course of treatments.
Most body art tattoo removal treatment courses consist of 1 to 4 treatment sessions, depending on the tattoo colour and size of the tattoo.
Treatment time depends on the colour, depth and size of the original tattoo and the client’s skin type and ability to adhere to the aftercare regime.
Procedures are less painful than laser removal, and treatments should be scheduled every 8 to 12 weeks. You must follow the prescribed aftercare regime, and your specialist will explain in detail why this is so vital to success.

Areola Reconstruction – Offers a realistic look after surgery
Nipple and Areola Reconstruction Treatment – Although there are many fantastic reconstructive options for patients following breast cancer, nipple and areola tattooing is the only treatment to replace colour and offers the finishing touch to surgery.
By expert colour matching and placement, we can create an areola which can camouflage scars and create a complete effect. In addition, if a nipple has not been reconstructed, we can create a 3D simulated nipple which gives the illusion of protrusion.
